Guillaume LeMessier II

Fourth generation known:

The fourth generation known, the least information provided iabout Guillaume LeMessier is perhaps the one that  It is perhaps I have the most contracts. Guillaume was born after the year of his parents' marriage or after 1481. In 1519, it seems adult in the strife of his uncle David. It is possible to better identify his age by his children. The notarial acts do not provide me any information that I want. With the birth of his son Jehan, he can hardly be born before 1496.

Again because of his son Jehan which would probably be the youngest of his son, I guess Guillaume marrying in 1524. Alone, Jeanne, his wife's name is known. Guillaume seems to have had financial problems during his life as evidenced by several notarial documents. About his death, I confess to be uncertain. He is still alive on November 30, 1551. Many Guillaume LeMessier are mentioned thereafter, without naming the parents or nicknames.

A proverb says: "The strength of a chain lies in its weakest link." In our genealogy, this is probably the link between Guillaume and his son Jehan that is most fragile. Back to the second generation. Descendants of Jehan are Blondelet. The descent of Jehan with his son Robinet and and his grandson Guillaume is clearly established. Among children of Robinet, we speak barely about Noël and Nicolas. For this reason, I chose Guillaume as ancestor. However, even if there is an error, Robinet remains our ancestor.
